Welcome to Carmi, Illinois, USA, where I practice accounting--mostly income taxes--and live with ?? cats in a White County Heritage House completed in 1876 and restored in 2001 after a fire in 1998. You can tell what my interests are from the pages below:

Local Sites of Interest
• City of Carmi.Com Go there to collect email addresses for White County natives and friends. Its a nice site, and the major problems with the original site are gone now that Advertinet is handling it. They don't have much in the way of links, nor the features that the old company had, such as photos of old buildings and Burrells Woods. It's also not getting updated very often, although I find when I submit something to their calendar it is promptly added.
• Advertinet.com A local advertising server, which should have links to WRUL/WROY, Lindsey's RVs, and several other sites they have designed. My feeling is that most local businesses do not need a website.
• Evansville Otters home page--my favorite team and my favorite ballpark, the wonderful old historic Bosse Field. Now if the just could win a Frontier League Championship.
• The Frontier League I used to have a page for them, but this one is much more complete.
• Elton John My favorite performer. His latest album is the wonderful Peach Tree Road, for his adopted US home in Atlanta.
• Crossroads of Southeastern Illinois regional tourism page. I am on the steering committee of this organization, which has many ideas to promote local tourism. They sent a museum consultant to help our historical society plan our displays and manage our buildings, and produce an excellent annual Visitors Guide which you can order with an email.  The counties covered are White, Edwards, Wabash, Jasper, Richland, Lawrence and Crawford.
