So about two weeks after I get home and feeling pretty good, all of a sudden I start getting angina attacks.
Went to get another ultrasound and found that a vein in my heart, very near the attachment to the new artificial aorta had
constricted due to scarring, twisting, or who knows what?
The doc said I'd have to get cracked open again and get a bypass...possibly two!
First surgery was on the 4th of January, the second was on the 31st. Had to have the double bypass. A vein
from my left mammary and a vein from behind my right knee were harvested for use.
I'm now home, a week later, on all kinds of blood thinners, giving myself hypos, trying to pass the time.
