Bees Again
Big article in the Illinois Times about the demise of bees.  I hadn't heard that bees are dying or failing to return to the hive due to either pesticides or cell phones.
Already in less than a week, one of my queens died and so we added in a frame from a friend's hives that had four queen cells developing.
The weather is still so cold that I have to feed them sugar water.  Global Warming?...HA!

And in 1972 we had a daughter born.
ALICIA KAYE COX, now is Mrs. Shawn Henderliter and the happy couple live here in Springfield also, although they moved up here a couple years before we did. Their favorite passtime is something like Creative Anachronism wherein they love to BEAT EACH OTHER WITH PADDED BATS AND SWORDS.
Mixed emotions here because they haven't consented to make us grandparents (yet).
