The number of gigs I have performed is a conservative estimate
based on an average of 7 per month for 45 years
As recorded in the following calendars,
I played 15 gigs a month for 18 or more years..
Nowadays (about five years) I've been playing 4 to 8 gigs per month, so the total number of musical performances must be 5000 or more.
I only had ONE 'hit' record..."I don't Care Anymore" by the Egyptian Combo, which reached #99 on Billboard's list way back in the late 60s.
I've played some very prestigious venues including "Park West" and "House of Blues" in Chicago, "Shakespeare Theatre" in Atlanta, "Keil Auditorium" and "Blueberry Hill" in St. Louis, and have opened shows for the likes of Chuck Berry (twice), Chubby Checker, Livingston Taylor, R.E.O. Speedwagon (twice), Christopher Cross, Bob Crosby's Wildcats, & David Allen Coe.
Some notable musicians I have played  with:  Chris Brubeck,  the Coasters (twice), Lenny Coltun, Kenny Park, the Shirelles & Darryl (Munch) Jones (Rolling Stones' Bassist). For a complete list see the pages entitled "Famous Musicians I've Played With."
I have played Blues, Rhythm and Blues, Soul, Classical, Punk, New Wave, Jazz Fusion, Jazz, Swing, Bop, Country, Ballroom and New Age Art Rock. I played with a Reggae band in the Cayman Islands and a Mento band in Jamaica and taught an Inca young man who played a hand-made wooden flute, how to hold and play the Boehm System flute when I was at Chichen Itza in the Yucatan..

The Full-color Calendars
For 18 Yrs I kept a hand-made, full-color calendar

Showing all my gigs...location, moola, personel, etc.
I rose earlier than most of the other musicians so

this could be done quietly while they slept in.
