Brad, our drummer, had not played in nearly 20 years.  Since beginning again six years ago, he has studied, practiced, taken on students as well as taken lessons himself, and is the most improved musician I have ever played with.  Also a vocalist, he was in choruses in his earlier years.  Alsos a good business person, a great P.R. man and actually books most of our band's engagements.
Chaz, the bassist is an extremely talented song writer/guitarist/bassist and has been even seen monkeying around off stage with piano and other instruments.  He is known for his humorous novelty songs like "I Want to be Barbie" and "The Big &*%#@!~ Song".
Gregarious and charming to the max, everybody in Springfield knows and loves him.  Wont to go off on jaunts to learn exotic finger-picking techniques on guitar, it is doubtful he is being showcased to his full potential playing just bass and background vocals.
Michael Taylor is our newest permanent (we hope) addition, taking over for the retiring David Burdick.  Michael teaches music from his studio in Pawnee, IL several evenings a week and plays solo, duo, trio and band gigs.

We have always had to 'go to the bench' occasionally when one of the forementioned is on vacation or double-booked.  In case of guitarists, now that Dave Burdick has decided to work less, we may still call on him or  Sam Crain, Jeff Helton, Hank Helton,  or a keyboard player.

4otf make the big moola due to a repertoire of classic rock tunes that people of all ages know.  When the band started Peyt was about 16 and I was about 30.
Jim is on the faculty at S.I.U.  He has perfect pitch and knows, by heart, the entire "Real Book".
Charlie plays drums full time with several bands.  He used to play with Grammie winner, Shawn Colvin.  He is currently touring with the Ivus James Band too.
Peyton sells class rings, sports rings and graduation supplies with Balfour Taylor.
Robbie, besides all his music and sound work, teaches recording techniques at S.I.U.  He used to jam with the Grateful Dead and was on "Spirit in the Sky" (Norman Greenbaum), "Rolling Thunder", Mickie Hart's solo album and "Tales of the Great Rumrunners" by Robert Hunter (Dead lyricist).

The
Kevin Lucas
Orchestra

This is an interesting band. Booked as an "art rock" group,
they have received quite a few mentions in independent music mags and on-line sites.
Kevin L. writes art grants that get us concert dates at universities and highschools with an accompanying seminar for aspiring musicians amongst the student body.
Probably the best way to describe their music is as minor key oriented melodies followed by nearly traditional jazz improvisational sections with a restatement of the melody at the end.
Andy Waldron plays the guitar and sings. Josh Wiley plays bass guitar and Jason Flores plays the drums.  (I don't know much about their other endeavors because they live in different parts of the state and I've not "hung" with them other than on gigs.  I'll try to get more info on them for later inclusion)
