Hillary Rodham Clinton

photo31.jpg

I played for the BILL Clinton campaign back in 1991 before his first term in office.
Saint Stephen's Acoustic Trio
was the band of record...Me, Robbie Stokes and Jimmie Salatino.
Bill couldn't make it but Hillary came to put in the personal appearance for the Clinton dynasty.
We played a couple of songs including Bob Dylan's
"The Times, They are a-Changin'"
Hillary was visibly suspicious of us as we stood and sat next to the sidewalk in back of the stage as she entered the cordoned off area behind Shryock Auditorium on the campus of S.I.U.
I hope Obama kicks her ass.

Paul Powell

The Egyptian Combo and Paul Powell, Secy. of State
ecandpaulpowell.jpg
Yeh, the famous "SHOEBOXES FULL OF MONEY" Paul Powell. He was a friend of our manager, Bump Linton

This photo was taken in the Exposition Building at the Illinois State Fair ca. 1966.
That's me, third from the right holding my tenor.

Powell came to Linton's for Thanksgiving Dinners. Doug and Rick Linton are 2nd & 3rd from the left.
We were all shocked when the millions turned up in his hotel room after his death. He was probably saving it up to pay for another recording session for our band....Right!...In my dreams.

Rob Glavoyabitch

I'm sorry to say I voted for this bastard the first time.
In the last gubernatorial I made a protest and
voted G R E E N !
He has made a mess of our state's finances and is being implicated in some shady dealings with Rezko and pals.  I'd like to see him impeached and thrown out.  His ego knows no bounds and he plays power games with the legislature and senate.
He refused to live in Springfield in the Governor's Mansion and spends, instead, thousands to jet back and forth to Chicago.
