Michael McDonald was from the St. Louis area and played with "the Guild" a very well known band who played all over the midwest,
in some of the same nightclubs I was being a journeyman musician in during my early career. One of the places was the
Benton Illinois Teentown, run by our mutual friend who has been the art teacher there for thirty some years.
